How long has Funtastic Creations been in business?
Funtastic Creations programs have been operating in Brisbane since 1999. Our founder, Dr Melinda Richards, has devoted her career to the development of programs which provide education for young children in their movement abilities. She recognized the need for affordable and accessible motor development programs as 30% of young children have coordination problems and are developmentally immature in their physical abilities.
What are the advantages of a limited license in Child Care Centres?
Provides an opportunity for your centre to offer the Funtastic Creations curriculum but retain complete control on staffing.
Promotes staff development and knowledge in multi sensory development in children.
Brings prices down to the lowest possible.
Staff are often required to attend classes as an observer, so this is an opportunity to offer classes in the most cost effective and efficient way as possible.
Centre has the option to absorb the cost of the classes and offer to all children in the centre; or offer the classes at a reduced price.
Offers an opportunity to generate revenue for the centre (if desirable).
What type of training is provided by Funtastic Creations?
We provide full training to up to 3 nominated staff members. We also provide training DVD’s, a full set of detailed Curriculum and easy to use reference guides. Additional training is available as required at a negotiated rate.
What support do your Child Care Centre licensees receive?
Our Manager and Team Leader will provide ongoing support as required. Our Research and Development Consultant, Dr Melinda Richards, is also available to develop new programs or to assist with any other enquiry.
How much revenue can I expect to make operating a Funtastic Creations Child Care Centre license?
Funtastic Creations programs may be offered into your Centre as a value added service, or you may choose to charge for the classes. Revenue earned will depend on the number of children in a class and how many classes are run per week. As an example, a class of 10 full fee paying children would earn up to $90 per class.
What is the total investment needed for a Funtastic Creations license?
The investment required includes a very reasonable license fee based on the number of classes held each week and the number of weeks the classes are conducted each year. Centres will provide their own props, most of which are low cost items and the larger items are usually readily available within Centres. Full staff training is inclusive and a one off copying fee will be charged for music CD’s, training DVD’s and curriculum materials.
